The Philippine peso remained at its all-time low against the Philippine peso of P63.09 on Tuesday.
Volume at the Bankers Association of the Philippines website went down to $1.359 billion from $1.778 billion.
The central bank's policy-setting body, the Monetary Board, is to meet on Thursday to decide if policy rates will be raised further as the peso loses ground against the US dollar.
The peso reached an intraday low of P63.11 before ending the morning session at a weighted average of P63.049. In the afternoon, the peso's weighted average was at P63.069. PHS
