Metro Manila and 12 other areas will experience moderate rainfall starting Friday, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.

In its latest advisory of heavy rainfall outlook due to the southwest monsoon, the state weather bureau announced that these areas will experience 50 to 100 mm of rainfall from Friday afternoon up to Saturday.

The 12 other areas include Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite and Batangas.

Meanwhile, other provinces including Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro will experience 100 to 200 mm of rains in the same period.

However, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro will also experience 50 to 100 amount of rains from Thursday. Robina Asido/PHS
