The satisfaction rating of the present administration recovered from its historical low recorded in March , gaining 14 percentage points in June, the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed on Wednesday.

The SWS survey conducted from June 20 to 29, or a month before the State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., found that 42 percent of adult Filipinos were satisfied, 17 percent neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, and 40 percent dissatisfied with the general performance of the current national administration.

"This is a 14-point recovery from poor -13 in March 2026, which was a record-low for the Marcos, Jr. administration and the lowest in 16 years since the bad -45 in March 2010 under the Arroyo administration," the survey stated.

"The June 2026 rating nonetheless remains below the moderate +14 in November 2025," it added.

However, the survey shows that the administration got a poor rating on fighting inflation and in eradicating graft and corruption in government.

Meanwhile, its net satisfaction rating was "very good on providing the youth with basic education in public elementary and high schools (+68), improving the quality of children’s education (+58), helping the poor (+52), and creating policies which will generate job opportunities."

Compared to March 2026, its net satisfaction rating also "rose the most for ensuring that no family will ever be hungry and have nothing to eat, up by 14 points from moderate +12 to moderate +26."

"It also rose by 9 points each for developing science and technology (from good +40 to good +49), creating policies which will generate job opportunities (from good +42 to very good +51), ensuring an efficient public transportation system (from moderate +24 to good +33), and ensuring food security (from good +32 to good +41)," it added.
