The disapproval rating of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr rose by five percentage points to 50 percent while his approval numbers went down by seven percentage points to 29 percent, according to a quarterly survey by Pulse Asia on Monday.

''Filipinos continue to withhold majority approval and trust ratings from the President,'' said Pulse Asia. ''Most of them express appreciation for and trust in the Vice President.''

Vice President Sara Duterte's rating was at 56 percent, up one percentage point from the March survey. Her disapproval rating is at 29 percent, up by two percentage points from the previous tally.

The survey was done from June 28 to July 3, using 2,400 respondents aged 18 and above. Duterte's impeachment trial at the Senate began on July 6. PHS
