Peso ends at new all-time low of P61.64 against US dollar

The peso finished at a new all-time low of P61.64 against the US dollar on Thursday, eclipsing the April 29 value of P61.567.
The peso ended at P61.38 against the dollar on Wednesday . Volume at the Bankers Association of the Philippines went down from Wednesday's $1.803. 9 billion from Thursday's $1.578 billion.
The peso has been beset by high world oil prices and the political developments since the third quarter of 2025. PHS
