A lady driver of a sports utility vehicle (SUV) was injured as a riding-in-tandem shot at her near the Little Tokyo in Makati City Thursday morning.

In an interview with the Philippines Shimbun, Police Staff Sergeant Marinel Pakalagan of the Makati City Police Sub-Station 3 said the shooting incident was reported to them at 6:52 am.

The shooting took place along Chino Roces Avenue in front of Unibank and BDO, beside Oriental Place in Barangay Pio del Pilar, Makati City.

Pakalagan said the victim was rushed to Makati Medical Center.

Bilyonaryo News Channel reported that the woman is aged 42 years-old, a manager at a condominium. Quoting a barangay official, it added that the woman was shot in her legs.

She refused to give further detail as the investigation is ongoing. Robina Asido/PHS
