Typhoon ''Obet'' left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday night but heavy rains will still be experienced in some parts of Luzon due to the enhanced southwest monsoon.

Obet exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility hours after it entered in the afternoon of Monday.

As of 5pm, the outlook of the state weather bureau showed that 50 to 100 mm of rain is expected in Zambales from Tuesday to Wednesday afternoon.

The same amount of rainfall is also expected in Benguet, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan from Wednesday to Thursday afternoon.

From Thursday to Friday afternoon, the areas of Zambales and Occidental Mindoro will have 100 to 200 mm rain while 50 to 100 mm rainfall in Ilocos Sur, Abra, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, and Batangas. Robina Asido/PHS
