Ambassador Endo Kazuya shares a special farewell message
As Ambassador Endo Kazuya concludes his term in the Philippines, he penned a heartfelt farewell message to express his appreciation to the partners, friends, and everyone who was instrumental in his first-ever journey as Ambassador.
''While these past two years cannot be fully encapsulated in words, may my parting message leave an indelible mark of my gratitude on my journey as Ambassador to this wonderful country,'' he said in his X account.
The Japanese Association, Manila Inc and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a farewell party for the Ambassador.
''My wife and I extend our gratitude for the close relationship and friendship we forged with our fellow Japanese community here in the Philippines,'' said Ambassador in his X account.
The ambassador paid a farewell call on National Security Adviser Secretary Eduardo Oban. He said Oban's ''strategic leadership has advanced Japan-Philippine security cooperation and our shared commitment to a Free and Open IndoPacific,'' he said in another post on his X account.
Reflecting on the Philippines celebrating Buwan ng Wika in August, Ambassador Endo also looks back on learning the Filipino language to better understand the Filipino people and the place he can now consider his second home. Ambassador of Japan in the Philippines X page
