Two years before the 2028 national elections, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto ranked fifth in OCTA Research's survey released on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old Sotto got a response of 42 percent for fifth place, 2.5 percentage points behind former Senator Grace Poe. Sotto's term as mayor is ending on 2028.

Senator Robin Padilla topped the senatorial voter preference with 53.9 percent. OCTA took the survey on July 4-11.

Senator Raffy Tulfo is second with 47.4 percent followed by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, who has 45.4 percent.

At sixth is Senator Loren Legarda with 39 percent, seventh ex-Senator Manny Pacquiao with 34.5 percent, Davao Mayor Pulong Duterte with 34.3 percent, broadcaster Ben Tulfo ninth with 31 percent, Abby Binay tenth with 26.1 percent, Senator Jinggoy Estrada 25.5 percent and Mark Lapid, 12th 25 percent.
