Monsoon rains forecast over Metro Manila, other areas Friday to Saturday

Tropical Storm ''Plandok'' may have left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but rains caused by the southwest monsoon are forecast over Metro Manila and nine areas from Friday to Saturday.
In its report Thursday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the southwest monsoon will shift lower to Central Luzon, affecting Metro Manila.
Rainfall of between 50 millimeters to 100 millimeters are expected over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Oriential Mindoro and Antique. This will be felt Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon, Pagasa said. PHS
