On Tuesday, Ambassador Endo Kazuya paid a farewell call on Foreign Affairs Secretary Ma. Theresa Lazaro.
Ambassador Endo expressed his sincere gratitude for Lazaro’s leadership and steadfast partnership in further deepening Japan-Philippines relations.
Lazaro, in turn, conveyed her appreciation for Ambassador Endo’s contributions to strengthening the longstanding partnership between the two countries.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They also exchanged views on a range of issues including Japan-Philippines cooperation in the region. Japan Information and Culture Center
