Gov't to submit 2027 budget of P7.2 trillion to Congress Tuesday

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. received the final FY 2027 National Expenditure Program (NEP) from Acting Department of Budget and Management Secretary Kim Robert de Leon during its formal presentation on Monday at Malacañang Palace.
The proposed ₱7.20-trillion national budget, anchored on “People-Centered Growth for an Inclusive and Resilient Future,” prioritizes investments in education, health, social protection, food security, infrastructure, digitalization, climate and disaster resilience, and good governance.
The budget department will formally submit the proposed 2027 budget on Tuesday to Congress. PHS
