Duterte leads survey for 2028 presidential race, says report
Vice President Sara Duterte leads the race for the 2028 presidential elections ahead of Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, Bilyonaryo News Channel reported on Tuesday.
Duterte has 49 percent while Robredo, who has insisted she will not seek the presidency, has 26 percent while Senator Raffy Tulfo has 14 percent, said Bilyonaryo, citing a Pulse Asia survey.
The survey was done from June 28 to July 6, which is the first day of the impeachment trial of Duterte at the Senate.
Duterte declared she was seeking the presidency last year even as a first impeachment complaint by the House against her was nullified by the Supreme Court.
Senator Bong Go led the vice presidential survey with 27 percent ahead of Senator Robin Padilla's 21 percent.
Senator Bam Aquino and former Senator Grace Poe tied for third place with 14 percent, Bilyonaryo said. PHS
