The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Tuesday presented to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. its accomplishments and operational updates under the military’s campaign plan during the 1st Semester CY 2026 AFP Command Conference held at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

As Commander-in-Chief, President Marcos was briefed on the progress of the AFP’s ongoing operations, strategic plans, and key programs to achieve a resilient and secure archipelago through coordinated national efforts.

AFP officials also presented the military’s accomplishments over the past year and outlined its priorities, initiatives, and operational objectives for the future.

The command conference serves as the AFP’s “campaign review,” during which the military reports to the President on the implementation of its campaign plan, assesses operational gains, and discusses strategies to address emerging security challenges.

Earlier, AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. underscored the campaign’s vision of building a resilient and secure archipelago through synchronized efforts across the government and the security sector.

The conference was attended by the AFP’s senior leadership from across the country, along with Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. Presidential News Desk
