Duterte to attend impeachment hearing

Vice President Sara Duterte will attend her impeachment trial at the Senate which is slated to begin on June 6.
Her spokesperson, Michael Poa, did not say when she will show up but will attend when necessary
Initial reports said Duterte will not show in the trial. If she does not, the Senate impeachment court will enter a ''not guilty'' plea.
Benjamin Tolosa Jr., spokesperson of the House prosecution team, said marking of evidence for the trial at the Senate was not finished Tuesday. This will continue on Wednesday and will continue on Saturday if necessary. PHS
