Veteran journalist claims plan to attack Palace on June 12
The oldest brother of Senators Erwin and Raffy Tulfo revealed an intelligence report on an alleged plan to attack the Palace on the celebration of Independence day next week.
Calling his source as "tweety bird", veteran journalist Ramon Tulfo said based on the report received by the police the attack will be led by a religious sect.
"My tweety bird who attended the meeting in Camp Crame says the agenda was the plan to storm Malacanang by pro- (Vice President) Sara (Duterte) groups on June 12, to coincide with the Independence Day," he said.
"The Philippine National Police (PNP) has received intelligence reports of a planned attack on the Palace to be led by a religious sect," he added.
Tulfo said his source noted that during the meeting "the conferees tackled the defense of Malacanang." Robina Asido/PHS
